BBQ Chili

Barbecued Brisket Chili
1 lb. Byron's Fully Cooked Pork BBQ
1 Large Onion, diced
1 can (4 oz.) Diced Green Chilies
1 package (2 oz.) Chili Seasoning
2 cans (14.5 oz.) Chili Beans
1 can (14.5 oz.) Crushed Tomatoes
Optional Garnish Sour Cream, Shredded Cheese, Cho
  1. Remove thawed BBQ from package and in a medium mixing bowl separate BBQ into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
  2. In a medium sized sauce pan over medium heat sauté onions until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add green chilies and chili seasoning and sauté, stirring often for 1 minute more.
  3. Stir in chili beans, tomatoes and brisket. Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally for 30 minutes.
  4. To serve, ladle hot chili into bowls and garnish with sour cream, shredded cheese and chopped scallions if desired.
  5. Makes: 2 quarts
